Our story
Made for people who'd rather be outside.
Ridgeloft started with a simple frustration: most rooftop tents were either built like tanks and priced like boats, or cheap enough to buy twice. We set out to build the one in the middle — the one we actually wanted on our own vehicles.
How we build
Real fabric. Real hardware. Real testing.
We partner with a single factory we've visited, walked, and audited. Every tent is cut and sewn from 280gsm ripstop poly-cotton, built on a honeycomb aluminum base, and hinged on marine-grade hardware.
Before a new model ships, it spends six weeks on vehicles in the field — desert dust, Pacific rain, mountain wind, highway vibration. If a zipper fails, a seam leaks, or a hinge loosens, we fix it before we launch.
The Ridgeloft promise
3-year warranty. 30-day trial.
Sleep in your tent for 30 nights. If it doesn't change the way you travel, send it back for a full refund — no questions asked. If anything fails within three years of normal use, we repair or replace it on our dime.
